The Vango Beta 550XL gives weekend campers and small family groups a fantastic basecamp tent for short breaks. The Beta 550XL is the tunnel tent in the Vango range and is ideal for weekend breaks and quick trips to the countryside.

The tent’s design features a single-door side and crystal-clear windows that enhance the brightness of the tent during the daytime while it is also designed for a nightfall effect to create better sleeping bedrooms so that your sleep won’t be affected due to the sunrise. The sleeping area features storage inner pockets and hang-tabs for lighting with a lights-out inner fabric to reduce the amount of early morning light while a linked-in groundsheet connects to the tent for added protection and can be rolled away if required.

External guylines deliver added stability while Vango’s patented TBS®II (Tension Band System) can be tensioned to remove slack and brace the poles at 3 points to prevent sideways movement in windy conditions. Color-coded poles with Vango’s pride PowerFlex® Fibreglass ensure you an easy pitching process while these lightweight poles reliably hold the tent sturdy.

Durable taped seams deliver long-lasting rain protection. This lightweight material helps keep the pack-weight low for a compact design that’s perfect for camping adventures. The Beta also features Vango’s robust Sentinel Eco Flysheet (3,000mm HH) which is made from single-use plastic.
